Gas Safe Register

Gas Safe Register is the official list of gas engineers in the United Kingdom, Isle of Man and Guernsey. It exists to protect the public from unsafe gas work. We’ve returned to PHEX to deliver a series of seminars detailing the role the Register has to play in industry. The seminars, developed in response to feedback from registered engineers, are a chance for you to ask questions to the team and get updates on key industry issues. You can also speak to our Inspectors or Illegals team on our stand. Twitter: @GasSafeRegister

To work legally on gas appliances and installations you must be on the Gas Safe Register, which exists to protect the public from unsafe gas work. By becoming a Gas Safe registered engineer you can show your customers that you are working legally. It also shows that you are competent and safe to work with gas.

The Gas Safe Register team will be on hand at PHEX to offer advice to registered engineers and to those interested in becoming registered, as well as running a technical seminar on each day.

The seminar will cover some familiar topics such as what the Register has been up to recently, the latest technical updates and how they're clamping down on illegal fitters. We'll also be running our popular 'Looking For Trouble' segment, which runs participants through various unsafe situations and classifications.
